The Competition: Screw Type Injection Valves

  • Can only estimate actual flow.
  • If threads are filmed or dirty, Cv is not as assumed.
  • Result? Non-accurate chemical injection rate.
  • A 0.0001" (0.003mm) of film can result in a flow loss of 5% in low flow systems!
  • Requires constant stem dithering to maintain flow - causing increased wear and reduced gear motor life.
A - Pressure Measurement taken along flow path - not a calibrated orifice
B - Small areas prone to film clogging and jamming by debris
C - Long, narrow flow path prone to filming and cogging
